Very Boring Rally

Rideamotorcycle.com is the newest motorcycle Internet web site, one that takes a totally fresh approach to catering to the street-oriented two-wheeled enthusiast. Rideamotorcycle.com is focused on 3 groups; the established street motorcycle rider, new motorcyclists, or those who do not currently ride motorcycles but are curious about learning to do so. Rideamotorcycle.com LLC Editor at Large: Bill Heald News Editor: Evan Williams Webmaster: Mark Lesselyoung Publisher: Dean Adams A Non-event? By Dean Adams Duluth Minnesota. Probably not the center of the motorcycling universe, but home to the Aerostitch Riderwearhouse and its famed riding suits. The suits are pretty cool, useful and warm; and even the yearly catalog of all things Aero is something to behold.
Aerostitch's head man, Andy Goldfine, is the latest in a line of clothiers from Minnesota's shipping harbor city and he is a priceless rogue. His Christmas cards from (way) up north range from sublime to outrageous—like the year he sent out a shot of himself riding his dirt bike on the ice on (presumably) Lake Superior—with open water in the background. Those of you with year-round tropical weather have no idea how dangerous this riding on ice stunt really is.
Goldfine and Co. championed the Ride To Work day several years ago—a concept we here at Ridea fully support.
As one may expect from a Goldfine, a rally with the word "boring" in its title, held in the hinterland of wooded Minnesota, this will not be your normal moto-rally. In fact, some of the bullet points of the fact sheet Goldi sent out tells the tale.

No tickets are required and there is nothing to purchase in advance.
The pre-event info kit details several decent day rides from Duluth, including one run past Ely, Minnesota. This run contains the warning: watch out for moose.
