Now, I'm from Florida, so I define hot weather as temperatures above 85 degrees. If you wear this on a 60 degree day on a sport bike you are going to be very, very cold. By contrast, at 90 degrees behind the faring of a Gold Wing it is tolerable to wear (and absolutely nothing else is). However, when it rains you will get a wet chest and back — with all the holes in the ventilation the water must go somewhere. This is a comfortable, 100% polyester sport riding/touring casual jacket. This jacket is made for hot weather situations when wearing an ordinary jacket would be unbearable. It has foam protection (urethane) in shoulders, forearms and elbows. It also has a quasi-back protector made of the same foam. It has a zippered front closure and 2 pockets also with zippers. Fully perforated, Velcro secured wrist as well as waist belt enclosures. Logos are reflective for night safety. It comes in silver black, and red color. This jacket has a very attractive style. I've found that the high collar keeps out bugs and other debris that might hit your neck. The back covers below the waist so, if you're in a tuck on a sport bike it covers your waist (with, thankfully no butt cracks showing). The fit around your chest is comfortable but not tight. Additionally, it is not so loose that it flaps in the breeze, beating you to death like some jackets I've paid for.
